Woodsmoke camping resort Fort Meyers, FL

Yesterday we made it to a campground just north of Gainsville, FL.  after checking on a Florida state park which was full.   We got a tent site which was about half the price of a RV site and still had electric.  The owner of the place kept a lot of animals so we took a few pictures.  It was still a bit chilly with temperatures in the 50s.  Today saturday we made it to Fort Meyers and are staying at the Woodsmoke resort.  Rode bikes and walked all over the campground.  Here are the animal pictures from yesterday.  The strange bird is an emu. Barb wanted to put the horse in the back and bring it home with her.

High Falls state park

We left Wednesday on another trip to Key West, FL to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.  Drove thru rain most of the day and had to get new wiper blades as the old ones were doing a poor job.  Wednesday night we stayed in a campground in Renfro Valley, KY.  Other problem we had was after filling my camper water tank and going to our campsite we discovered that I forget to close the drain valve.  The water had all run out and had to fill it again.  Getting too old.  Thursday we drove threw a little less rain.  We are staying at a campground  about 30 miles south of Atlanta called High Falls SP.  It is 55 degrees.  Rode the bikes around the campground.  Sorry have not taken any pictures to post yet.
