Las Vegas Day 3

Well, we have had about enough of LV and time to head out.  Yesterday we took the bus to Caesars Palace and walked thru it taking pictures, then thru the Forum shops, where I found Pete Rose signing baseballs.  Then it was on to the Venetian, Wynn, Encore, and on back to Circus Circus where we sprung for the buffet.  We ate enough to last several days.

Las Vegas Day 2

We spent the morning resting up after our long walk the day before.  About 1PM we bought 24 hr bus passes and took the bus about 6 miles to the other end of the strip.   Proceeded to walk thru Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalabar, Tropicana, MGM, and New York-New York.  Ate Fish dinners at a restaurant  in New York-New York.  Then we walked thru the Aria (a new casino/hotel and really awesome).  Walked on to the Bellagio for a fountain show.  Then it was back on the crowded bus for the trip back to Circus Circus campground.  Very tired from all the walking.

Las Vegas day 1

We arrived in Las Vegas about 1PM yesterday.  It was a very easy driving day compared to day before with 50 mph gusts.  We got a campsite at Circus Circus/KOA.  In the afternoon we  walked down the strip to Treasure Island and Mirage (round trip about 3 miles).  We watched the Volcano erupt at the Mirage. We missed the Treasure Island show due to the huge crowd. Have to catch it another time.  The weather is beautiful, with temperatures in the 70's.  We will be here at least 3 nights.
