Yesterday we drove across Florida to the Atlantic coast. I think it is a lot less humid over here, but Barb likes the gulf coast better. We tried to get into the Sebastian Inlet State Park, but they were full. They sent us 1.5 miles down the road to the county park. It is on an island with a bridge. We are camped in front of a foot bridge over a small waterway that goes to Scout Island. On the other side of Scout Island is the Indian River also the intercoastal waterway. We spent the afternoon having a picnic and looking for fish, birds and other critters. Had a lot of fun with the Hermit crabs. They live in a shell that had a previous owner. I would find them in the water and bring them on shore. After a few minutes they would think it safe and walk back to the water, with there shell on top of them. We were there for about an hour when about 20 young girls with a few adults sorta took over our picnic table and place by the water. They went out in the water with nets trying to get critters. This one woman found a Seahorse, which Barb took a picture of. We got a campsite for 4 nights here.
